Not only is the Links Hotel proud to display a unique gallery of signed pictures and photos off the Musical Artists that have performed live at the hotel but we are also very proud of Montrose's local talent and whenever we have the opportunity we like to represent their work throughout the hotel for guests to enjoy.
Wall Projects exhibitions
The Links Hotel is one of the main sponsors of regular exhibitions from Wall Projects - a company of contemporary artists, run by local artist Kim Canale. Wall Projects operate on a 'nomadic gallery' concept, staging exhibitions both locally and internationally, sometimes at more than one venue concurrently!
The next exhibition from Wall Projects is one very dear to our hearts at the Links.
It's called 69 degrees and showcases work from twelve graduate artists from the art schools of Glasgow, Aberdeen and Dundee. It's fantastic to see talent emerging from Scotland and to be able to help with this is a privilege.
The exhibition runs from 29th July to 26th August at the Castlegait Gallery, 12 Castle Place, Montrose - and works will also be on show at the Hotel.

Hotel paintings
Currently in the hotel we are delighted to have the opportunity to display paintings by Robert Cook student of James Morrison RSA, RSW (b.1932) as well as photographs by Niall Benvie who was born in Arbroath and is described as
"That rare creature, a truly outstanding wildlife photographer who is also a fascinating writer on matters photographic and environmental"
