Montrose Beach, with three miles of golden sand, is a lovely place for a day out. 

It enjoys a superb reputation as a family resort with miles of clean, sandy beach, as well as facilities such as the Splash seafront play area, and the Traill Pavilion with plenty of car parking spaces. 

Furthermore it has been awarded The Blue Flag, an award that recognises only the most well-managed resorts and water quality standards and is a result of substantial investment by Angus Council to ensure the seafront area meets the strict criteria for the exclusive eco-label.
